EXACTLY. That's not easy to get across. The truck batt only juces up the amperage, the benefit actually being very little "sag" under the gun motor's load. In other words, rock-steady fire RATE.

Trashed internals?
An AEG can theoretically turn faster than anybody's seen yet, RELIABLY.

Gear/piston teeth will NEVER strip-as long as the piston hits home before the gears come around again. There's nothing magic about it.

If the gears strip, there's one cause (barring mechanical failure elsewhere):
The spring could not get the piston returned in time.

Stronger spring...(somebody, please get together and make some universal specs?) and we cure that. Until the box itself fails structurally.

That's why I want to start seeing AIRSOFT guns. Designed from the outset as 6mm ball firing items, not replicas of powder weapons.

Sky's the limit- SOLID cylinder, milled right into the gearbox billet. Short-stroke, THICK return spring, possibly milled right into the piston body itself. Electronic-feedback FPS control, dial in and lock whatever power is needed (aftermarket dialsets would allow "overclocking"!).
60RPS? Simple...just buy those gunny-sacks of ammo airsplat sells, 'cause you'll NEED 'em.

Be great forsupport guns, wouldnt like to see that on rifles though. I think it would turn into "speedball" rather quickly.
