make sure you tie your shoes as you do ot want to trip and fall. and also your snow pants look like they might make that swooshing noise.

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

You don't even want to know what I have to say lol
But I'll give you a really important tip: Black is a HORRIBLE night camo Grass isn't black during the day, and it's not black at night. And dark camouflages might work alright in the shade during the day, but they're all just great big dark blotches at night. Lighter camo's like ACU work REALLY well in moonlit areas, and blue is the first color to dissappear at night. So wear more dark blue! |

Common mistake to assume Black = Best night camo, It is only best if there is NO light at all. But for best night camo, Navy Blue do job.

I'd go with cadpat. If there is still snow on the ground, you will be silhouetted though.
Are you even 18 years old? You look 15.

Definitely get a better flashlight. That dollar store piece of crap (ive owned several) will do nothing but just give your own position away. Something with a good strong beam with a long throw is what you're looking for.

forest at night is very dangerous.
Be prepared to fall on your face, I suggest you get some gloves and kneepads.

Yea you look pretty young.
Ditch the track pants, ski pants, etc... and like what was said ditch the black. Personally I'd go with either CADPAT, DPM or Woodland BDU maybe even go desert pants and woodland shirt depending on the field. If you are going to be running with a light on the rifle do not have your hand on it while you are running around having an ND on the light would be very bad. Also just an FYI if other people are using lights and are sweeping an area if their beam hits your light it will reflect the light. |

Wearing all black isn't that bad. Depends on how you dig in (Camp). Wearing pants that are nylon will give you away for sure.. Wearing blue is good..
If you can get your hands on this i think you'd be set!! http://www.kamouflage.net/camouflage/00093.php Last edited by BobbyDangerous; March 6th, 2010 at 12:07.. |

Thanks everyone for the tips. Im going to toss the ski pants and wear some navy track pants. Il get some knee pads, because there are lots of random twigs and roots sticking up. The flashlight is cheap, I know. But off my gun I have a nice maglight. And yes, i am 15. The field we are at is private, and the owner allows anyone above fourteen that they know personally. I will try to get some photos for you guys tonight

Actually I had a bunch of different ski pants, and they all make alot of *swish* *swish* noise.... maybe because they are too baggy though @.@
I currently have BDU pants with some of my *yes I didn't grow* elementary school track pants (My parents bought clothes too big for me when I was young so I can use it when I grow up ) >.> underneath lol.... Try ebaying for a flashlight, I won a Fenix TK11 R2 on ebay for 62 USD... Dunno about knee pads, xAndrewx just sold me some Woodland Bijans, should be nice :P Quote:
