m14/v7 mechbox??

just wondering what mechbox parts are v7 specific, ie can i use a v2 piston?? and what other parts are interchangable?

Off the top of my head from what I remember I believe that most of the V7 is compatible with V2 parts, gears, piston and piston head at least. I have not worked on one in a very long time so I cannot recall exact specifics. You may need a specific cylinder head and air seal nozzle Hopefully someone else can offer a little more info than I.

V7 Cylinder head, and cylinder, along with spur gear if you're using a stock marui box.

yes its a stock mauri box, what about the piston head? if the cylinder is different?

Nope, the piston head is the exact same

I recommend and Airosft Research Syndicate MASK PRO cylinder head.. they're awesome

Certain v2/3 pistons will not fit, such as Prometheus. It can be made to fit by modifying it, but Prometheus does have a v7 specific piston out now.
