That's a $20 red dot.. Why not spend another $20 and get that attaches to the proper rail?

The heck are you talking about?

I have installed that RDS on my AEGs for ages.

It is not designed to fit there, but because there is a free moving side to the part that holds onto the rail, you can fit it on a 20mm rail no problem, and it is as stable as it should.

Unless you got the ultra uber cheap version that is made for BB guns, in that case you are on your own. There is no adapter that converts the small rail to 20mm, because guns that use the small rails are usually lighter than the scope you would attach using a 20mm mount...

Walmart, 40$ gets you the 20mm version that fits.

Yeah you got yourself a rimfire sight. I did the same thing for a scope. Logically nobody would want to put a rimfire sight or scope on a centerfire gun. Bring it back to Crappy tire or Walmart if that's where you got it and in the future make sure you buy "Centrefire" accessories. That one is good if you got a .22 or a daisy, not for airsoft.
