Battery storage
I have my gun wired from the buffer tube with a deans connector as I used to use lipos. I was just wondering, what alternatives are there for buffer tube wirings? I don't want to use lipos as I dumb as bricks when it comes to that type of stuff, and I don't know how to properly take care and maintain lipos.
I thought of a battery bag attached to the stock with a basic 9.6v type of battery, but thats if there are no other options as I don't really like the look of the bag with the wires sticking out. Are there batteries that fit in buffertubes other than lipos? Thanks |

Your options are:
- lipo in the buffer tube - battery bag on the stock - fullstock - crane stock with crane battery |

Yeah that would be much appreciated. I know g&p makes one, like a package deal.. cranestock and battery.

Any of the major brand would be a good choice.

Does anyone have any recommendations for lipo chargers? Preferably a simple, user friendly one? I understand lipos must be kept charged, not undercharged, or overcharged.. so is there a charger that will basically charge my battery, and keep it from exploding?

Okay, so I did some digging, and found my lipo charger from last year. Is this a good enough charger, or would it be better to get a different one. http://www.khmountain.com/airsoft/pr...roducts_id=379
Note, does anyone know if lipos converted to deans will still be able to be connected to this charger? Thanks |

I dunno 'bout batteries, but avoid the Dboys' Crane stock; I got one for $15 from eHobby, but it turns out it's just for looks. The battery storage tubes don't actually open up.

You could always get a front handgrip that can accomidate a battery if you want a certain stock that cant hold a battery

Don't get a LiPo if your not 100% comfortable with it, there's alot of reading involved.
G&P crane stocks are great, their 8.4v 2200mah batteries are fantastic. But solder a new deans connector on yourself, 7/10 batteries I've seen have had cold solders on the connectors. But 2200mah will last you around 30 68-round mags or so Biggest Lipo you can get in a buffer tube is pretty small, under 1500mah I think, then you need a protection board as well, 100$ charger, 20$ lipo charging sack |

something like this? http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=18666 I'm just concerned that this battery won't last for a whole day of playing. Last edited by Shrapnel[Op-For]; October 22nd, 2009 at 19:53.. |

30 mags is PLENTY good for a scrim
And if you need more you could always buy a second battery |
