Safety Catch Compatibility SOLVED

I'm currently having a horrible time assembling a custom Torus mechbox with all Modify parts. One problem that has really irked me is that the Modify safety catch does not engage with the trigger when in the safe position because it's too thin and the trigger slides underneath.

I'm using a G&P trigger assembly but I don't think that is the issue because it fits perfectly in the modify box. I've pulled the safety catch out of a G&G mechbox I had lying around that is a bit thicker and it engages with the trigger and works fine, the modify safety catch doesn't work in the G&G either.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Anybody know of a thicker safety cover? Perhaps a madbull?

I shaved the safety catch on the outside so that the inner lever only travels as far as the trigger. Problem solved
