ak47 parts fit on akm??
Hi, just wanna make sure be4 I spend any money on the gun. Ak47 parts will fit on the akm right? I am looking to purchase the real wood set for my akm but there are only for the ak47's available. Plz help, thx

Yes, I dont see why not, the front handguard retainers/ferrules may not be exact, but nothing a little filing or shimming won't fix

Well, to keep it simple...
If it's an AKM, you should get AKM parts to keep it 'pure' As for the wood issue, you could get Real AKM wood and mod it on. Takes a bit of time but is very woth it.

What AKM is it, the older Cyma CM036? The upper handguard should fit, the lower will be very wobbly unless you find a way to shim it, or you replace the lower handguard retainer with a AK-47 style one.
The stock will not fit without dremel work.
