Slide does not lock back on last shot
i have a we gbb pistol and sometimes the slide does not lock on the last bb.
also sometimes the bbs will just simply roll out of the barrel...anybody know why? |

edge the slide catch locks into could be worn or the plastic piece on the mag that activates the slide catch could be worn, for the bbs rolling out, if it happens when you point the gun down (while NOT firing) your Hopup is all the way off. if it happens while firing then you gun isn't pumping out enough gas (which could also cause the slide not locking problem)
All COULD be fixed with a new hammer spring or better mag. |

I think its a fairly common issue for We guns.

Maybe the recoil and hammer spring combination is too strong for the slide to cycle back fully?
I had that problem on my TM 5.1; I just swapped the guarder 150 hammer spring to the stock one, worked like a charm. |

What type of gun is it?

does it lock back on empty if you pull the slide back with your hand?
you said it sometimes does this, maybe the gas is just too low to allow enough pressure to carry the slide back

Common problem with WE's. If you want it to work properly, buy a TM.

Does the slide lock back if you just fire with full gas and no BB's?
I'm not a GBB expert yet but could be the hammer spring or maybe just the temperature |

If you used many GBB's (well, WE's in particular), you'd know it's common problem with WE 1911's and Hicapas. All 4 or 5 I've ever used did it.

right, so the the slide lock works, so it probably just that as the gas in the mag runs out, it doesn't have enough power to send the heavy metal slide back anymore, next time it happens, remove the mag and fill it with only gas and then dry fire it, it should lock back this time.
