Need some help from M14 people.

I am getting a M14 socom and now I need to figure out a rig setup. I'm pretty much asking to see your rig setups for a M14. PICS would be very very helpful for me

Thank you, DJBackfire

Ok, I have only seen double pouches for them( the ones that stack two each) is there ones that only hold one mag per pouch?

As I like to go prone a lot or lay down, I like to carry my mags on my belt with suspenders. Tactical Tailor makes Molle M14 pouches, and so does Pantac, I would look into those. As for a chest rig, anything that can fit FAL/G3 will work for M14 mags. G36 mag pouches will probably work too but they might be too deep.

I've got an m14 socom and a rig setup for it.

I use a wasatch, and I can fit at least 4 m14 mags in the rig. I have it setup so that I carry 4 180 round mags in the vest, with a magpul on each mag. one mag per pouch. I then have one in the gun for a total of 5 mags on me. Makes it easy to go flat, no pouches to buy, and the 7.62 magpuls are $3.49 a piece at ds tactical. And the wasatch has molle if you decide to get a ton more mags.

Is this the vest your talking about? http://www.1337tactical.com/shop/pro...?productId=127 if so it should be able to fit 6 or are those pouches one big one and they just look like separate ones. I know the M14 mag is wider so I understand why you only have 4 if its one big pouch.

That helps, thank you. So for single stack pouches, they are always open like that then...darn. maybe ill go with double pouches and just have single mags in them.
