Anybody know anything about this carrier?
http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AC-APP-ST-69-3M.htm
Airsplat doesn't have that great of a reputation, I know. And I'm incredibly suspicious of both the price, and the fact that there's only one picture for reference. Thing is, I just want a knockoff CP plate carrier for display, so durability isn't a big deal. I guess what I'm asking is if anyone has any firsthand (or even secondhand) knowledge about this thing, and if it's even remotely worth my time to buy. |

That looks random non branded china clone or one of the ehobbyasia "EA gear" vests. If you are never going to use it than the price isn't that bad. The stitching is almost certainly going to look no were as clean as a higher quality knock off like Pantac.

I have an EA Vest form ehobby, got it for 70$. It's pretty good, but i must admit, not nearly as good as pantac, or other brands. If you really into diving around, getting dirty, and runner through prickles, anything that will catch the threads, dont buy it. I'm more of a reserved player, and try to avoid these things, so mine is fine.
Mine looks good for the price though, |

Cool, thanks guys. I'd actually just be using it for a couple of photo shoots, then it will most likely sit on a shelf

Hey everybody, just wanted to pop back in and say that I bought one, and it worked out pretty well. It doesn't fit *great* so I really can't recommend buying one for actual game use, but it worked well for my purposes
Here's a picture of it in action. The final edit (in context) will be up on nightzero.com in a few weeks. |
