Cas g&g cqb
So here is the gun:
http://www.canadianairgunsupply.com/...dg-m4-cqb.html Pros: * Looks good * all metal (except for LOWER receiver and pistol grip) * very heavy * comes with battery, charger, a pair of shooting glasses, forward grip and rail covers * excellent accuracy with minimal hopup adjustment * functions pretty good as a indoor and outdoor AEG * charging handle and forward assist work, but dont do anything Cons: * battery goes into the stock and stock cannot retract all the way, if i do push it, it cuts the battery wires. Getting the batteries in there was hell to begin with. * advertised fps was 350-360 actual is 300-310 fps All in all I would say I am satsified with this as a great first gun. I am 5'10" and it fits my body size perfectly. Some other dude made a youtube review of this gun. Its about 4:00m in. He's off on the specs of the gun, but at least you get to see it in action. Apart from lower receiver. Guy in the review says the pistol grip is metal too, but that is not true. I've never heard of anyone even making a metal pistol grip in airsoft.

Lol, metal pistol grip.... >.> My G&G's motor heats up allot (caused by motor itself) a metal pistol grip would just make it impossible to hold.

CAS guns are not all metal. Not even close. The lower receiver is polycarbonate, adn the upper is fibre reinforced nylon, not metal.
Not to be a dick here, but I consider this review thread to be pretty worthless as the info provided is not accurate at all.

Do'h! All except lower receiver... The grip is ABS plastic too. And the motor does NOT heat up at all.. (so far)

Feels like metal, but it ain't metal. It's reinforced nylon. Cold to the touch too. Fooled me too lol.

+1. None of CAS's guns have metal uppers. The only G&G to have them are the higher end 007 and Mach 1 models. CAS are all nylon, but the nylon is very hard.

Are you sure about that? I read somewhere that the newest batch of CAS guns, called "V1.2" have metal uppers.

Nylon fiber isn't silver in colour is it? I have the BuyAirsoft version (which I think is CAS, it's marked Combat Machine) and the receiver shows silver where the paint has scratched off from tools and the charging handle.

Hmmm... Interesting. I guess it's possible that their newest models have metal. Although it would be something totally new, as until now, their uppers have always been nylon. The metal uppers are usually only found in the higher end models.

http://www.canadianairgunsupply.com/...dg-m4-cqb.html And that would be false advertising....... in which case I would feel violated. I have the AEG with me now.. The rail on the upper receiver, the charging handle and ejection port cover are all definitely metal. I honestly can't tell if the upper receiver itself is metal. My review is based on the CAS's website. If its wrong, I will change it. Sorry for the confusion..

CAS says the new version 1.2 with a metal upper and re-enforced body on their site, looks like they have metal uppers now

Then if you got a new 1.2 version, it should be metal. I stand corrected. Up until now, all their guns had nylon uppers.
Easy way to test - pull out the rear body pin and crack the reciever open. Use a tool to lightly scratch the finish inside the upper receiver. You'll be able to tell if it's paint on metal, or nylon.
