Genuine CP, or replica, if genuine I'm down for a set.

I think it's pretty safe to say it's replica.

It won't be Crye, or even Crye-licensed fabric, unless the price comes it at several hundreds of dollars for the set.

To be fair though, the Gen 1 sets from Huang are a very good copy of the Crye pattern. I have 2 sets of real Crye, 2 sets of Crye-licensed and 2 of Huang's, and the Huang versions are pretty close.

Considering you can't buy Gen 2 real Crye, it would have to be a clone.

Just makin sure as he labeled it as Crye Precision. The quote I got for CP gen2 combat set was $460 USD shipped. So if I can get it here and avoid "handling" fees I'd do it.

I see that Crye now has it stated that they ship internationally. The combat set on their site is $324 USD + pads, shipping, etc.

Yeah, recession!!

They are not identical. Crye licensed simply means that the general scheme and colours are within an allowable tolerance, and Crye will allow the user to use the trademarked Multi-Cam logo to sell their product.

I have Crye-licensed from both Propper and Tru-Spec, and it is very close to the real deal, but not 100%.

There is a wide variety in the clones though. I did a photo-comparison on here about a year ago, and I've since added several more real and clone sets to the closet. I could do an addition to that if I get some time.

Propper and Eagle are licensed. I don't know about the other.

Huang combat pants (left) vs. Crye (right):

Huang combat shirt (left) vs. Crye (right):

Tru-Spec TRU field pants (left) vs. Crye R6 (right):

Ebaybanned range vest (left) vs. Crye (right):

I can see about uploading my old comparison pics onto my new computer later, they contained Crye vs. old Tru-Spec, Propper, HSGI and 204 Tactical.

The Huang stuff is very good, subtle differences in colour, but huge differences in material and construction.

Tru-Spec TRU is way off in colour (even though it's a licensed fabric and both comparison pants are brand new, never worn), and the selection of material locations is quite different. Cordura is used on the Crye at the knees, but not on the Tru-Spec, and the Crye material is much lighter. The Tru-Spec is rip-stop though.

The EBB range vest is much darker than the Crye, and the construction isn't even close. But the Crye is no longer made, very hard to get, and 5-6 times the price if you're lucky.

IYHO, how does propper stock up to the real deal? What about eagle and TT (assuming you have had experience with their products)
