Predominantly the AK purists who will be jeering at you, and possibly throwing eggs.

I had a minor issue with a KA grip (the FN style one) on a metal body, the pegs were wider apart than on a Marui body (was probably made for the KA body), minor dremeling was required.

Looks like the pistol grip is meant for an AK-74 body, thus you'd have to cut the fake ferrule off the body.

You mean like this? No issues if your handy. I suggest picking up a cordless drill, some files, bits, extension & screwdriver, a small nuts and bolts pack, Allen keys, blue loktight, tap and dye set, hack saw, sandpaper, black krylon, silicon oil, white lithium grease, brake kleen, toolbox, and table vice. Might not need it all at once but with these tools, almost any mod can be accomplished.

I think a moderized AK looks damn good, very pleased with the way mine turned out, I just put a KA tactical set on it and THATS IT! Any more than that Kalishnikov's (Fixed spelling) ghost will be haunting you...

who is Kalinikov?

Kalashnikov isn't dead either, as far as the tactical ak's go, yes some people need rails to mount optics etc. but there are better options than those x47 monstrosities out there, you can get a proper scope mount that goes on the side of the receiver and a proper russian optic like a POSP or a Kobra couldn't hurt either.

People think that AK purist's are all about NO RAILS ON AK'S!!! but it really just means staying true to the Russian/Eastern Bloc impression that you are going for on your AK, which means NO ELCANS, NO ACOGS, NO M4 STOCKS and none of that Natofag shit on your gun, that's all

Because really, if you want all those bells and whistles that are typically found on an M4, then ynot buy an M4 to begin with?

It's like when you see these import scene cats with their "Conversions" where they take a civic and do EVERYTHING possible to make it look like an Integra, just foolish in my opinion, why not just buy a fucking Integra to begin with?

Um... Because gucci'ed AKs fit the Middle East PMC look? And some people do want that sort of AK to fit the impression?
