Q1: That depends on the brand of magazine and the gun type
Q2: Until the clicking sound changes. |

Thanks illusion. But based on your experience, maybe you could quote me based on the mags (brand) you've used before?
Thanks in advance. |

I don't really use them for game play.
I have a couple of times, but not often. Tokyo Marui P90 hi-cap can (supposedly) empty almost the entire magazine before it needs reload again. Other magazines I just wind it every time there is a lull in gunfight. |

My TM M4 hi-caps will feed every last BB on one full winding (minus the BB's left in the feed tube since there's no other BB's left to push them up).
Larger capacity mags like the 600 rd. AK mags half to be wound about half way through.

Both those questions are very dependant on magazine manufacturer. My L85 hi-cap (which was basically a STANAG mag) needed winding about every 150 rounds or so, yet some STANAG mags will empty the entire thing on one winding.

It differs from manufacturer and gun model. I've found I get about 60-80 rounds out of some hicaps, nearly 200 out of others. Some of the JG hicaps actually have a key that you can use to wind them really high and burn through the whole mag without anymore winding.
Since you can't over-wind hicaps, just wind them whenever you get a lull in battle. Hell, you could even wind them in a firefight if you wanted. Kuro_Neko |

It pisses me off so much when people do that as they fire lol

Hicaps in general piss me off. I'm a realcap guy all the way. What's the point of having such realistic guns and then having single mags with hundreds of rounds. Now the triggermaster hicap mod is a good compromise.
