Opinions on the King Arms 40mm Grenades?
As the title states I'm looking for some opinions on the King Arms 40mm grenades. I wasn't able to find anything on them here, and only one or two comments over on Arnies. The few comments I did find that they were cheap, yeah but you get what you pay for. That they leaked and the o-rings degraded and the threads jammed. I have the opportunity to buy a bunch of these at a pretty reasonable price but I'm wondering if they're worth it, or should I shell out for CA's or Madbulls?
Thanks, Kuro_Neko |

Madbull's are the best the ball bearings sit in a recessed spot so if they're well greased they wont fall out when you assemble or disassemble your shell. Will all 40mm airsoft grenades they all need to be disassembled and repacked with grease. The King Arms are a little trickier as the ball bearings are smaller and there are two to each position that they sit inside the shell. So you have to take a little more care to reassemble them. They for the most part are pretty reliable but it wouldnt hurt to buy a backup o-ring and ball bearing kit for them. I found after firing them even with greasing I still had to loosen the base from the shell a little bit to re-seat the firing button on the bottom of shell base. Then you should be good to refill with your desired gas and bb's. I also found that with the Madbull grenades. Oh and if your wondering what kind of gas to use with them propane is the cheapest and easiest to get, CO2 from what I've heard has more power or propulsion power. And green gas is the hardest to find and apparently is the same as propane. Oh and putting a little bit of grease on the o-rings helps keep them from drying out and flattening out prematurely. I use Labelle 106 plastic compatible lubricating grease with PTFE which can be found at hobby shops anywhere, you wont need to much but it helps the ball bearing move and also stick to where they seat when you reassemble or disassemble. I hope that helps you out.
