TLP 4000c Problems

Now I know alot of people have had problems with this same charger and I have read the posts here on airsoftcanada and other sites but none to seem to help. So here is my problem I plug in my charger its set to just a little under the 600mah mark i hook up my battery a 8.4v nicad mini 600mah and discharged after its done that i fast charge but neither seem to do anything, also the battery doesn't even become warm. and when i hook it up to my gun nothing the same as before. What am I doing wrong.
Thanks

I am not sure as i bought everything used. The battery's seem pretty old but i don't think its them. I tried to do a deep charge by pressing the mode button 4 times it does discharged then the power light flashes and beeps a lot. Sometimes it does fast charge goes to slow like it should when i remove battery and try it no juice. It feels to me that it wants to use the battery pack and the power source even though its plugged in.

Maybe try anther batt to see if it's your batt or charger that's fu-bar or not. But it sound's like the batt that's dead.

I use a TLP charger and one of my old batt's has a false peak so it will beep saying it's done before it's fully charged. I just press the button one more time (peak charge) to continue the charge.

Yes use the one's in front the one's in the back are for hooking it to your car batt so you can charge your batt's on the feild.

And charge your batt's at the lowest mha setting it's just easyer on your batt's and they will live longer.

....MODE.....................SELECT...........BB SOUND.......FUNCTION

slow charge------connent batt to charger--1-----slow charging
peak charge------push button 1 time-------1-----fast charge,BB, slow charge
fuzzy logic charge-push button 2 time------2-----discharge,BB, 2min slow charge,BB, fast charge,BB, slow charge (BB sound)
discharge---------push button 3 time------3-----discharge,BB, slow charge
3 cycle-----------push button 4 time------4-----discharge, 2min slow charge, fast charge(repeat 3 time's)slow charge(BB sound)
stop--------------push button 1 time------1-----slow charge

You should just be able to pull the fuse out and look at it and see if it's blown. If it's blown the little S shaped thing in the middle will be broken.
