Note that the webbing and pouches also have the four color pattern, could be very cool to see
Although I still need to get that new picatinny mount for the ACOG...

That ACOG looks like it's sitting way higher than it needs to be.

All three of those guys look like bags. Are they actually soldiers?

thought error
All combat soldiers look like bags when they are doing their job...just FYI....its just more effective to be comfortable than parade ready...

Yes, assume I have no idea what I'm talking about wouldja? And no, they don't. Maybe that kind of cockup is ok in your unit, but it sure as fuck wasn't in mine. |

The four colour DPM is from before the Gulf war in 1991. They had to stop using it because they had just sold a big batch to the Republican Guards for use against the Iranians in the 88 war.
Looks like they are going Retro

All three of them seem to be wearing pants 3 sizes too long and the 1st guy's right pant leg is half bloused and unbloused. Yep, a bag of chips this lot.

All joking aside I thin it's a stupid move... It looks awful and Des DPM looks like it does the job (well from my armchair general looking at pix of course). Redesigning the body is good though, the Osprey is massive and bulky as fuck.

Email Daniel Defense and get ready to spend the big bucks (that's in the unlikely event that they sell these to civvies)

I mean no offense. I only state the philosophy of kit wearing drilled into me by a slew of very fine RCR and PPCLI sergeants at the Infantry School this past summer. As well as personal testimony that in the field comfort comes before inspection ready looks any day. I fully understand that in garrison one must look their best, as I always do, but out there in the woods who really gives a damn. If that was your units philosophy its fine by me...but to those who care about functionality and effectiveness leave us alone.....anyway this sub conversation is over as it is wholly irrelevant and is disrupting everyone else from the glories of semi-new dpm
