re-using stock parts
I'm not sure if this is common knowledge, or off-the-wall....
If you own a UTG/WELL/other rebrand Mk96, then your rifle comes with some foam barrel spacers. These are crap, for their intended purpose, anyhoo. You'll wanna replace those ASAP, but don't toss those stock ones. You can use them as foam dampener pads for any bolt-action rifle with an openable cylinder. It doesn't decrease sound tremendously, but it's free, and doesn't mess with the consistency of the rifle. |
