Depends on the gun. Which model are you looking at?

I've heard the rail is too skinny for a scope mount

Don't know much about their guns, but I don't care at all for their parts.

I was pretty happy with my BOYI M4 R.I.S. full metal until few days ago when my gearbox stopped working for no apparent reason :-/ battery IS charged, motor IS running but it seems to have not enough power to move the gears :-/ I'll be disassembling the gearbox tomorrow :|

On looks, seems ok. The D-Boys chinese made... so they are in the low quality AEG. Surely you can modify it by yourself... that means put new internals... switch external for better...
But you're not even sure if the AEG will work fine. Your best bet... buy something good ! TM, STAR, CA, VFC, SYSTEMA... not some cheap AEG that you'll waste a lot of money and time. I learned something for the last past few years... when you buy something already tuned up... that you don't need to modify the internal... it will work just fine. By the moment you do some mod inside the mechbox... change receiver... you're beginning to face problems... mags feeding problem... hop up problems... a lot of problems... Think about what type of player you are... after, buy something in consequence to match your style of play. |

Sorry for late reply. Overcharged the battery... yea I think i have >_< not too much tho :-/ but it was still working for a little while even on that overcharged battery. And I've had it for almost half a year.

I'm gonna try and get my hands on a DBoys AKS74U whenever I get verified. (Or sooner) I've heard a lot of good things ( And bad ) about them. We'll see when I get it.

Buy cheap, buy twice. They are low quality, poor quality check, Ive seen some with missing gearbox parts such as trigger contacts and etc. Yes they are cheap and no they are not worth it. Save up and buy quality instead. Less problem and more reliable.
