MP7 compatible with AEG parts?

I have a Tactical Force MP7 (TM clone). I just took it apart to see how I could improve performance. The first thing I noticed is that the piston head is ridiculously loose inside the cylinder. I'd like to fix this problem. Can I replace the cylinder/piston with one for an AEG?

Any other suggestions on how to improve performance on this model is appreciated.

Get aftermarket parts for TM MP7. Normal AEG parts will not fit, because normal AEG internal components are far larger than those you'd find inside MP7.

I thought that would be the case. Thank you.

edit: Any reason why I couldn't go to the hardware store and pick up a fatter o-ring to improve the fit?

You could, but you'd have to take into account a lot of variables on the piston head. If it's too fat, it might cause stress on the head when firing and break your piston head. Also, if the rubber from the oring is different than the original it may corrode from the piston lube. It's best to stick with traditional upgrades unless you feel like exploring.

Nine-ball does great MP7 upgrades.
