Barrels + Stocks through customs?

Sorry if this has been repeated. I have searched without success in finding if customs will seize stocks and barrels. I am looking to buy the fluted steel barrel and m40a3 stock for my vsr. I just want to get some confirmation that I wont be flushing my cash down the tubes.

Cheers,
Mr.Steezy

Only Pistol barrels pose a problem as far as I know. Even an Outer barrel shouldn't be an issue.

People seem to be getting in silencers fine.

How the hell do you manage to break all your guns so badly?

Recommendation: Try using firefox, it has a built in spell checker (and take its advice).

The stock is the part that you put against your shoulder. The receiver(s) is the part that contains the guts.

Oh, and you can't import receivers. That's a big No-No!

There was a recent posting that lists all prohibited items from importation.

http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=51297

And there's also an FAQ from a few years ago with a more detailed listing.

http://airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=40318

Unfortunately the silencer/suppressor is on the prohibited list. If someone managed to get one in, that's purely luck. Just search for "Prohibited items" and you'll probably pull up a few more threads.

Suppresors, if a package is opened by customs, will be seized. Customs agents won't make the differentiation between a supressor replica for airsoft, or an actual supressor for real steel. If it looks like a supressor, it's confiscated. The will occasionally make them through, just like the occasional AEG, receiver, etc can make it through. Shit happens. But if your package is inspected, it will be seized.

Just a suggestion - either buy the supressor in Canada, or order it separately from the rest of your gear. That way, if it gets inspected and seized, you're guaranteed to get the rest of your order.

I'm looking at having some items shipped to North Dakota, then driving down to pick them up and clear customs myself. Has anyone had experience doing this?

I'm sure the battery + charger won't be an issue, but I'm also looking at getting two mags (without fake bullets) and I highly doubt "but the internet says it's okay" will fly with the customs agent.
