Face Shield

Has anyone use face shield in skirmish? (like anti-riot/ frag resistance etc) Is it effective? and could it replace the goggle as protection?

Some people have use the standard industry grinding shields, and they work great, they dont fog, but its very dangerous as BBs coming from behind could ricochet off the inside of the shield.
There ARE face shield which seal around your face, but I've never seen anyone use those.

Why?

Those would look ridiculous and be much more cumbersome than goggles and provide a much larger risk..

I find a sealed facemask to be safer than goggles since it protects your VERY EXPENSIVE teeth

My post was directed at the first post, not yours :P

I'm saying goggles or whatever would be much better than one of those grinding masks or whatever a couple of those hellfish guys were wearing with their bio-hazard suits.

Yeah, because goggles provide fantastic face protection.

I would like to see a replica Ballistic mask,
I have seen them in video games and use in Iraq, it would allow you get
away from full paintball style masks.

I think that only issue with them would be ether is there enough room to
wear a pair of wiley-x under them, or would you have to wear googles over them.

Just buy a paint ball mask...

The grinding masks fog up horribly on a warm day.
