Okay, so I can’t import guns. What about parts and accessories?

Yes. The good news is that most parts and accessories, including most magazines, can be successfully imported by individuals without requiring a BFL. Examples of things you CANNOT import:

* AEG magazines with fake cartridges (i.e. P90, G36, SG 552 mags)
* Frames, receivers, and metal bodies
* Suppressors and silencers
* Prohibited-length outer handgun barrels (i.e. USP Compact, Glock 26)
* Hand and 40mm grenades that look real

Examples of things you CAN import:

* Magazines for AEGs and GBBs without fake cartridges
* Outer barrels for most guns
* Inner barrels of any type
* Handgun slides
* Flash suppressors
* Scopes, red dot sights, iron sights, lasers
* Rail systems and scope mounts
* Springs, bushings, gears, pistons, or other gearbox parts
* Batteries, BBs, loading tools
* Helmets, goggles, body armor, tactical vests, camouflage
The FAQ is your friend

It's not our customs you need to worry about. ARMS SIR are contracted items issued to the U.S. military. They are currently export restricted. It's the U.S. Customs that would stop it and seize it, not our customs. Try to get it from in Canada if possible, but they are hard to find at the moment. I had to buy mine used.

I was going to suggest Wolverine, but they do come up used on CGN from time to time. There's currently a #40 used for $175 on there now (yeesh!!).

I'm pretty sure you didn't buy an ARMS SIR from there... Maybe a clone, but not an actual ARMS one.

Here is a suggestion noone ever says.... Call customs. They have a list saying what is permissible and what is not. I had a lengthy discussion with a customs agent one day about this. But as always, anything has a chance of siezure.

Being sacarstic? A lot of people suggest that, but like always it depends on the officer inspecting the package. Unless you can get the 'answer' on paper + signed by customs, calling is not much help for 'grey items'. For black and white items then everything is listed here and on customs website.

If its coming from US no from ARMS not replica ones is because it's due to Export laws. There was an incident that US GOVT believe that insurgents were using technologies US made or illegal obtained. I say that's fair in war :P

I will let you know if I receive my A.R.M.S.® SIR #45M through US channels and no it is NOT a replica,... However, Wolverine currently has them in stock for between 400$ to 500$ depending on the model.

in regards to civilian or military, it is easy to identify, you just need to know the model number... M = Military Version and C = Civilian Version and the
difference from the M to the C is that the C model does not need to take off the Delta Ring whereas the M version you are required to take off the Delta Ring and leave the barrel nut only...

Well, you'll probably have no problem with C version but with M we're not sure at all. Are you getting this directly from ARMS or retailer?
