U.S. VERSION VFC SCAR-L BLACK

Well the money I gave for the VFC SCAR-L was money well spent...Plus I got to see my brother almost $hit himself. He left for his dads for X-mas So I had him open it before he left... Now I get to play with it.
Here are a few pics of the rifle as well as a few new pics of my 416 some members requested(moved to my HK416 thread). I am glad I did not order it from accross the Pacific since the only difference is the words "FN HERSTAL BELGUIM" are the only thing not on the US version. Which I will take down the street soon and have them Laser engrave that on there after X-Mas. I am glad they (VFC) did not put the big VFC logo on it like the US HK416, thats why I had to get the overseas version of the HK416(details freak). They did not put anything there where the words should be, so now the owner can go add the trades easily. The orange paint almost falls off the muzzle as soon as you get it... so thats a plus, it only took about an hour to remove all of the orange completely. I took some pics with some furniture of mine on the SCAR... just to send and annoy my bro who left the gun here and is out of town for the rest of the holidays. I figured I would show you all aswell. I also have a youtube vid I made showing him opening it up so you can get an Idea of what comes straight out the box. I wil post the vid as soon as I upload it to youtube. I will do a full review on it as well as finaly reviewing my HK416 after the Holidays. well heres some teasers for now. Enjoy

That's how those people who always wind up in the background of your pictures start out.

Can't wait to see the SCAR transform. Pen and paper ready for the notes.

LOL yea. My little boy is always a camara hog and loves guns. He kept saying take my pichu-take my pichu!! so I did, and I though the pic looked funny, so I added it. All the guns have been discharged and are batteryless when hes around.

Ok, now if Christmas will hurry up and get here I can try the SYSTEMA Mechabox in it.

Once I decide on some internal upgrades I'll definitely share its' inner secrets!
It's just gonna be some external accessories/add-ons for now.

The plastic on the gun looks tough. Letus know how the internals hold up.

FYI- Just so you know the VFC SCARs' grip, although externally looks exactly like an M4, is not the same inside so you can't put an aftermarket one on it. The meck-box site higher in the lower receiver so the factory grip is taller inside. Pissed me off after I had already purchased a magpul cts and had already started modifying it. Hopefully the Star SCARs' will be different.

My Lil' boy(I mean HELLRAISER).

Ok I will be doing the SYSTEMA Mechabox test fit just as soon as the Systema Hop-Up arrives. No point in jacking with the internals if I am goin to have to take it apart again in a few days.

Very nice. SCAR isn't really my thing, but that is a nice gun indeed.
