Charger mods?

Here's a dumb question from a noob, so here goes: I have a charger for a full sized battery, but my g36 takes a mini battery. Would everything pan out if I nipped the tip of the full sized charger and butted a mini battery end on my charger? Without the obvious voided warrenty.

It would help if you could tell us exactly which charger, model, voltage, amperage? Otherwise you'll get guesses for answers.

The charger may damage the small bettery if the cell count and amp don't match.

Small cells need different "rate" of charge.
