1. Read the FAQ. Be aware airsoft guns cost a LOT more here than they do in the 'States. Whatever price you find at WGC, you can pretty much triple it to get the landed cost in-country.

2. Get age verified by your local rep, and you'll be able to see the buy + sell section (you can't see it right now).

classic army or G&P
I'd say CA if your planning on shooting above 350 fps

Same for A&A, but it might take a while before the gun is in country.

I owned a CA 249 Para for a short time and it rocked. It has a fucking bullet proof mechbox that only really needs the gears and piston swapped out. The G&P Mechbox IIRC is a V2 and we all know what problems they come with, regardless of manufacturer. Just my two cents

for a new player, the CA.
its a bit cheaper, and easier to work on. (gearbox wise) It also has a safety (that works) and can accept standard M16 mags. Also weighs less.

Ive owned and heavily used a CA249mk2 last season. This year, its seen very light use. On stock parts, it shot very nicely, and lasted well over 15,000 rounds before requiring minor repairs. but those repairs were caused by user error.

I've got a CA M249. Beautiful machine. I replaced the stock piston and piston head as a precaution as soon as I got it. I've since installed the CA steel kit for the bipod mounts as frequent use can wear down the aluminum. I dropped in a tighbore barrel and pick up a couple Star auto winding box mags. Now I just gotta get out and play more. Even with the little things that need fixing on the CA M249 it's still about the best M249 available.

I had one of the first production run CA249s and it has never, EVER broken on me and I've probably put close to 50,000 rounds through it. My Sun Project M16 has been seeing a lot more trigger time lately otherwise that number would probably be double.

The only thing I ever upgraded was the spring.

The only thing I ever changed out was the inner barrel (flaw in the factory one) and the piston head O-ring which is a consumable anyways.

I had mine up for sale recently but no one bit. Figured the Sun Project was going to be getting all the attention anyways, it's SOOO much more gratifying to shoot.

I've worked on both, although the CA looks more difficult they're the same to work on, the G&P uses a standard V2 gearbox so it'll break WAY before the CA's PGC gearbox (if the PGC ever does break), but G&P reinforced the external components of the gun (front sight, carrying handle, stock).
So the G&P can take a beating on the outside and the CA can take a beating on the inside.
