Yep. Friggin full steel and wood. Seems like a nice cheap alternative to the VFC.

You sure like to brag about how you bought that gun even though you're under 18 and you managed to avoid the age verification system.

Good find, ancorp! Any news on the quality of the internals? I have heard conflicting reports of other SRC models.

IMO you should be comparing it to this one:

http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...cat_VFC%20AEGs

Seeing how the regular one has plastic wood.

$338 vs $475 is a "feelable" difference (40% more). Of course it's still up to the buyer.

Will probably be a smaller % difference when it gets to Canada though...

Yeah I suppose I can agree with that. The handguard is worth about $40 I think. So I guess you can ask yourself, is it worth 40% more for the better brand and limited edition serial numbers?

Yep, its what one finds more worth it. And depends on the final price in Canada.

Also factor in the better availability of the SRC, due to the VFC being limited edition. If I could find a VFC I'd go for it in a second, but the SRC is a good fall-back. And about the only other option to:

a> VFC
b> Building your own

C) Army brand AKS-74U AEG
D) Tanio Koba gas-blowback AKS-74U
E) AFC gas-blowback AKS-74U
F) LA Studios gas-blowback AKS-74U

I love GBB. And Pizza Pockets.

The Army ones arn't out, are they?

Lol, when we talk about availibility, gas powered rifles barely make it into the conversation. They are so limited its not even funny.

Well there are pics online and videos of the Army, but I'm pretty sure it's not officially out. Neither are the gas ones (except the LA one I believe).
