Confused about Eagle PC-CB sizing
Hey folks,
As I understand it the sizing for the Eagle CIRAS is based upon the size of SAPI plate the carrier is built to carry. Though in the L/XL phantom Ciras, the cumberbund seems to be longer, allowing for a better fit of larger folks. Is this mirrored in the Eagle PC-CB? Is this phenomenon limited to Phantom reproductions?

I own a Eagle CIRAS (small) it fits Medium SAPI plates but the vest inner/outter cummerbund can accommodate folks much larger say 6'+ 200lbs. Owned the Eagle PC-CB in small found it too small at times with plates & soft armor.
CIRAS cummerbund is held together with the QR cable and PC-CB is held together with paracord in a shoelace crisscross pattern and held in place with a cordlock. |

I do believe that the first run of PCs from Eagle that came with cummerbunds had them all the same size regardless of what size PC you ordered. I do believe the L/XL versions now have longer cummerbunds as well. Not sure if the Phantom ones are the same, I'd imagine they are though.
In either case, the Eagle PC w/ CB I've got is a great piece of kit and I love it. Definitely HSLD.... |
