Mix match cylinder head ( Systema nb cylinder and bore up cylinder head)

I once had my set up with a systema bore up cylinder kit with the silent piston head, bore up cylinder head of course the cylinder and m130.

Thought i would tune it down a bit so i installed a m120. Shockingly i only get 320 fps (chronied at wasaga). With the m130 i get 425ish. Its obviously the cylinder set up. So i've got a systema NB type 1 on the way here.

The question is, will i be able to use my cylinder head from my bore up kit with the systema NB cylinder? I was reading that the diameter of the bore up cylinder is slightly larger so that must mean the cylinder head is also larger?

I'd like my fps to be around the 390 range that it was. Oh by the way im using a G&G gr 16 and the barrel length is 363, so i figure the NB type 1 was the one.

The right cylinder for 363mm barrel is Systema NB Type 2. Type 1 is for AK lenght 400-455mm and you CANNOT use Systema NB cylinder on a bore-up kit because it is larger in diameter.

so the bore up kit isnt just a silent piston and cylinder head? damn well i've already got it on order i mind as well try to fit the cylinder head into the NB (crossing fingers)

Copied from Red wolf's Systema NB cylinder : For XM177, AK47 / AK47S, SG551.
Type 2 : For MP5 A4, A5, SD5, SD6, MC51

the xm177's barrel is 363mm so i would indeed need the type 1.

Ok. Bore up kit cylinder head is larger. There is no way it will fit NB type cylinder I tell you and by experience Type 1 will work with a little drop in fps. I got the right fps on two of my M4's with 363mm+type 2 and 407mm+type 1.

The bore up cylinder head WON'T properly fit on to a standard bore cylinder.

All the parts that come with the bore up kit are specific to the bore up set (cylinder, cylinder head, piston head & nozzle) and can not fit with regular bore kits.

I agree that the Type 2 should be used with your inner barrel.

PS, I have a Systema standard bore cylinder head for sale... hint hint.... and standard size silent head sets...
