Fiberglass or Plastic?

just wondering, for a replica helmet, which material is better, fiberglass or abs plastic? a friend of mine got a Mich tc-2000 helmet, it's made of abs plastic. and i also noticed that there's some mich which is made of fiberglass. can anyone give me any comments on this one?

Hard plastic is fine, why spend the money on a Fiber Glass one? Unless they are reasonably priced.

Fiber glass is better, hard plastic makes REALLY loud sound against branches when you're bush whacking.

fibreglass, why? PADDING
i bought both a plastic and fibreglass PASGT and my friend has the fibreglass MICH
plastic = cheap straps
fibreglass = pillowy comfort padding

my friend he got a plastic mich, with a really cheap chin strap. then he got a MSA chin strap on the net, it's really nice. I'm planning to get one for myself too, still deciding which one should i get, plastic or fiber glass.....which is more durable??

That can usually be fixed by having a helmet cover...

Usually plastic ones are cheaper, but the fiberglass is heavier too...

fibreglass = WAY more durable, its also about 3 times as thick as the ABS one, doesnt weigh a whole lot though, i really recommend the fibreglass one.

Fiberglass. its not as heavy and it doesn't get as hot as the plastic ones.

The fiberglass have almost the same weight as the real deal. I own both real and replica, both PASGT and MICH, and the similitude is stunning.

I prefer the real deal, because of the straps and all.
