INCOMING!!!!!! Hopefully
I'm planning on emmigrating to Canada, North Bay Ont, this year, paperwork depending, and have a few questions.
I'm fairly sure I can't just stick my m14 in my luggage, mmm rubber gloves at customs  , and probably not in freight with out some paperwork. Are aeg/ba's still classed as firearms in Ontario? If so would I be able to get a licensed dealer to help "import" them for me? I've seen a few posts about softing in the North Bay area, how many of you guys are up that way? Thanks in advance. |

East Kilbride, near Glasgow in Scotland. I married a native 18'ish months ago and we're sick of the weather over here.

Sell what you have bud, then buy from one of our retailers when you get here. Gear should be fine, no magazines with fake bullets. Look at the faq section to see what you can bring in.

can't he find someone who has an importation license to bring it in for him?
Contacting one of the dealers to bring it in for a small fee? Probably cheaper that way and he keeps the gun he's attached too.

I'd be more than willing to pay a hundred bucks, plus costs, to have this done if it was an option. Replacing all my stuff would cost me a fortune.

i'd go for a calling a retailer or someone who has proper licenses and papers to bring to import it for you, you can take the accessories and mags (save on shipping). try calling ASCA, they're in Ontario.

dood, just strip the gun you have and buy a body when you get here. If you like your mechbox barel and hop-up. You can bring your stock and front RAS setup and if you strip the barrel assembly right down you could bring that too. If done right alls you will need is a new body!
and dont forget your grip! good luck

He has already said it's stock and not customed to him. Therefore the simplest solution is to sell it back home, and re buy out here. That could be more expensive then it sounds as our prices are slightly greater.
The other answer already stated and possibly assisted by Gryphon is good as well, pay a fee to have it brought in by a licenced person/retailer.

Renegade bring up the key issue, cost. Here in the UK, now airsoft is safe, we can import our own gear direct from hong kong and save a fortune. To have to pay full whack again after selling a perfectly good one just seems daft. Plus I do tend to use them quite hard, so they all have quite a few cosmetic flaws, so i'd get a very low resale price.
