So much Surefire sex!
Must be more or almost as expensives as your guns.

Very nice pieces and your pics aren't too shabby also. Any favourite of all the Surefire you have or had?

Favourite Off-hand Light you can't beat the L5, medium throw, medium spill and you can really tell it's 100 lumens of pure white light. Perfect for CQB for use with a pistol on your other hand. (but now I'm itching to try out an L6) Favourite weaponlight, is really hard to pick but the setup I have with my G18c right now puts the M111d upfront. Such a compact unit and such a simple press of the slimline switch unleashes so much light it's scary that it's mounted on a pistol. Your favourites Bruce?

what an awesome collection. also makes me wanna get your loadout.
maybe you should do a comparison of the lights, lumens, beams, materials used etc. for future surefire buyers. |

I only have one Surefire and it's the M900A. Not too happy with the run time and was looking at the M962XM07 for the extra cell to increase the run time. Even though the M900 has 3 cells, it seems that they die in a few minuites. Maybe I like to flash my friends in the dark with it too often.
Maybe when I finish my next gun, I'll have to look for one. It looks real good on your SPR and that's something of a look that I'm looking for.

Bruce: FYI, the M96 doesn't give you an extra cell, it's still a 3 volt 3 cell system. Only the M98 series will give you that extra cell and even then your run time will still not increase, you'll just increase your lumen count. With these weaponlights and over 125 lumens you'll never really get that much runtime, your only solution is finding cheaper CR123s  BBS: I would love to do that but I barely had time to put this section together so ...

Was just reading my last post and it didn't quite make sense. Edited to clearify. I should stop surfing the net and go to sleep.
Wow, the M98 with the 350 lumens bulb will definately make me popular or not with my friends in a night game.

But that 2.5" turbohead is going to be the target of a lot of bbs and actually a bb will crack the pyrex on the bezels ... A cracked turbohead is unimaginable pain.
