Modification Specialists
Hello,
I would welcome a tab at the top of the main page that places a list of players with the skills and time to do upgrades on AEG's. There are many skilled Airsmiths out there who could charge a fair rate to do upgrades for those who just know they will f-up their expensive AEG. They could give rates based on type of upgrades and parts. I'm not sure if there are many with the time to start up a small buisness doing such work but if there were I'm sure they could fund many a project. I often see AEG's for sale listing a nicname as the person doing the upgrade and saying "so you know the upgrade was done right". Just a thought, I know there are a few names on this forum that I would feel very confident sending my AEG to for upgrades but I would not PM them to bug about an upgrade unless I knew they would not be offended. For example, I have a stock AEG M4A1 S-System I would like to get shooting just below 400 FPS. There are many posts with all the info needed to pick the parts up and even who makes the best and so on. I would like for an Airsmith to have a small link which would say "M4 Upgrade to 390 FPS, Cost $XXX.XX for parts, installed and tested. It's not that I'm lazy but after all the money I spend on a gun I would weep for days because I messed up a good gun while trying to make it a great gun. Again, Just a thought Lotech

Not knowing who can modify guns means a few things; none of those guys on the list are near you, you did zero research during your year here, or you never meet anyone.
When you go to games, do you ask questions? Where do you think the players in your province get upgrades? Even if there's nobody on the list, the odds are good there's someone local to you if you do some research. |
