Mk1 Carabine
Hi i was wondering what would be the best way to fit a 20 mm rail on my mk1 carabine it has already a 0.22 rail but i wanna fit a scope and my ring need 20 mm. I was thinking abou buying g36 short rail and make some small hole in the gun so i can screw the 2 bolts. Or is there any adapter 10mm to 20 mm rail on the market. Note i did a search and i havent found anything. Tanx for your help in advance.

Here's a site in the UK that sells what you'd need.
I'm thinking of getting one or two for my Mk1 also. I'm sure there are a few retailers that sell similar items in the "retailers" tab at the top of the page, but at least you'll know what to look for now. You want a "dovetail" to 20mm weaver adapter" or something like that. Also, check ebay. |

The cheaper option would probably be buying 3/8th" dovetail rings instead of getting a custom rail as they're pretty much available anywhere in canada, not to mention any adaptor would probably cover over the hopup adjusting hole.
