What is the deal with WGC?
I joined their site & have placed orders with them three seperate times. It says that they will respond within 24 hours but I have yet to get a response to any of my orders. I chose the paypal method for payment & thought that it would just redirect me to my paypal page but...nothing. Anyone know what I need to do to get through to them?

Oh you might want to consider that WGC sells everywhere world wide. Probaly one hell of a waiting list for emails.

is your e-mail hotmail? i had a problem with that and i had to ask them to resend the quote.

BC_K, his question is valid and not country specific. If he asked about importation rules or local retailers, perhaps your post might be more reasonable.
Don't shit on people if they have valid questions.

Shagg orders from them every two months for us, a fair amount I might add, but a few months ago he got an e-mail from them stating that they no longer accept PayPal payments from Canada because some smart-ass from somewhere in the country ordered an airsoft M203 grenade launcher from them and it got siezed, then returned to them. Caused a crapload of b/s for them, since then they only accept wire transfers from Canada to pay for the order. Only quoting Shagg's expereince, he's posted the replies on our forum, but it would be good for other people who order from there to state their cases as well.
EDIT: Ok, I now see that you are in the US, I have no idea what is going on in your case. Sorry. |

actually thats not true. they happen to be very hard working and respond on weekends. i made 5 quotes in the last 4 days. and everytime they reply within 5 hrs. just this morning i requested a quote at 12 noon. they responded to my email 1 hr later knowing that i'm going to pay by paypal. i didn't use those free email services tho.

About this whole paypal issue it's pretty weird cuz I had an order coming in from them about 2 weeks ago and I paid it using paypal.

My previous order was sent to them 2 months and a half ago and it went fine aswell, if that can help you with anything. On my last order they even sent me a nice little WGC hat.

ok i have a question. the confirmation they sent me says the following:
Thank you for ordering from WGC. Your new order status. --------------------------------------------------------- Order Information: Order Number: 00******7 Your e-mail address: arny068@email.com Status: Packaging Tracking Number: Not Available Ship By: Ship Date: 20 Mar 2006 - ( Estimated ) what does the last part mean? "Ship Date: 20 Mar 2006", does that mean they are going to ship it on 20th of march? or is the package going to reach my house by 20th of march? just wondering if it takes them 5 days to actually post it to the mailbox.
