Looking for KSC Glock 19 extended outer barrel
Friend wants to add an extended barrel to his glock 19, not just a threaded barrel but something like the longer barrel on the Beretta M93R. He wanted the compact frame of the G19 but wants an extended barrel (mostly for asthetics but a longer inner barrel is always an accuracy bonus).
Anyone know if this is possible? Possibly fitting a larger glock model barrel onto the G19? Thanks |

Good question. Would look kinda funny though, depending on the barrel chosen. I recently installed a G&G threaded metal outer barrel to one of my G19s (avoid buying the G&G one, it's a real bugger to get working properly, after much filing and screwing around, I finally got it working in my stock slide G19, but it refuses to work with the metal slide......... is ok, if I want to put a supressor on, the plastic slide is quieter than the metal one.) Overall it looks pretty cool, much like the HK USP Tactical shown here:
I have on order a G17/18 6.04mm tightbore for that gun, seeing as how I can fit a longer inner barrel in, why not go for it? A longer barrel by 1cm or so is one thing for accuracy, but getting rid of the inner barrel wobble in KSC Glocks is the best thing you can do to increase accuracy. |

yeah, we've checked out threaded barrels but he wants around a 3-5cm barrel length increase without a silencer. I've never really seen done what he wants to do so I was unsure if it was possible with his gun.
I was thinking a threaded barrel and then a short length of threaded tubing, or perhaps rig up the old non threaded barrel to thread at one end and have it screw over the new outer barrel. |

I have a KSC G17 and G19, and a guarder extended outer barrel for the G17, and a spare G17 metal barrel laying around. If I remember correctly you cannot place a G17 barrel in a G19, simply because it just doesnt actually fit! Since it was awhile since I did this I forgot if it worked or not. To confirm my finding I'll try it out at home and see if it works.
EDIT: Well I jammed my G17 barrel into my G19, while it goes in, when you pull the slide back the barrel is meant to rise, and due to the extra length of the barrel it gets hung up and only pulls back about 90% of the way. With some elargement in the front of the slide where the barrel pokes out, im sure it would work.
