from what i know (wich isnt much) it is used to direct the sound and flash away from the shooter . more so then the norm.

The Krinkov FH is designed to make short barrelled ARs function reliably.Especially ARs with barrels shorter then 11.5".
The Krinkov FH creates backpressure which makes the barrel act like it has a longer gas system. The Krinkov also directs the muzzle blast forward away from the shooter. SKBY.

Not an M4 either.True M4s have 14.5" standard profile stepped barrels. However the upper does have the proper M4 feed ramp cuts. I amassed the parts through a buddy who gets all sorts of neat stuff. Some of the parts are hard to get in Canada (IE, the Krinkov, Larue Rail, & LMT upper), but everything shown was legally aquired here. :-D SKBY.

I've seen ready-mags that attach to rails so it could be used for that. |

Nice setup. How's reliability? FTE's or FTF's?
BTW, I love that Larue Rail... just so ... perfect.
