Helmet Question
http://www.ebay.ca/ulk/itm/151804421763
^^^ Above helmet. As far as it goes for the shroud, is it any good? Or is it replaceable. Also is Dragonred Better than Emerson and pros and cons of each. I have an Emerson right now and it's a cheaper fast helmet. Paid maybe only 60 bucks for it. It works for airsoft. I don't want to spend big bucks but I wouldn't mind something a little more durable and interchangeable. Also I like the Bump helmets but I can't find any. Depot had them but not anymore

2) Shroud is replaceable. 3) Dragoned version is more sturdy and comfortable than Emerson IMO. If you plan on using the helmet and running NVGs, I would recommend getting the real deal. Last edited by docholiday; October 14th, 2015 at 14:16.. |

Here you go. http://airsoftdepot.ca/catalog/produ...oducts_id=3001 Or bump (your link isn't bump, that's ballistic style).

Honestly, all the helmets are the same china crap, comes down to the padding for me. My buddy tossed on real padding in, and it's 100% more comfortable now.
I had an emerson before selling it for 2-3 years, ran me well, no problems. - Also bought from depot, but they seem to carry Dragon Red now. Get's the job done, don't have money to spend on a nice Wendy or Ops-Core. |

So there are bump helmets in stock at the depot for less dollars than the one you have in your link.

Also airsoft depot gets plus a billion reputation over random ebay shit. Haung may sell china made stuff, but the guy has amazing customer service and isnt a scam artist. AirsoftDepot cares about his market, airsoft depot is a retailer worth supporting.
As for helmets, The fake ones don't really protect you well/at all if you bump your head. Real padding may help this, other wise its for looks. Really helmets have better protection qualities. Real bumps and ballistic fast helmets are great if you happen to whack your head or fall. Unless your just going for looks. Other wise grab a real Bump (like 200ish) and don't worry about the fake breaking your funk. |

Should have said EXF Bump. Says they're out of stock. I shop at depot all the time. At least once if not every 2 weeks I'm there grabbing stuff.

That's tougher. I can't be sure but I might have heard they're shut down.
You might have to go for a real one. http://www.dstactical.com/product_in...oducts_id=4196

I have an emerson clone ,it has the diamond shaped cutouts ,..I also have a Emerson ,... The clone I have was cheap from ebay & has the proper double chin strap & the dial retainer ,..Now honestly I love the clone because its lighter ,..Its some sort of plastic., with pads,.. pretty tough, very comfortable with the dial retainer & lightweight ,..The emerson i have is great too , but it does not have the dial retainer ,..not too big a deal as the pads for it are very good & help alot to keep it in place , & it is a bit better quality but that makes it heavier ,..its thick fiberglass i think ,..so either way they are both pretty good ,..however just beware ,..if you get a cheap clone look for the proper double chin strap & the dial retainer ,..then it will be ok
