Awesome airsoft field?
I hope British airsofters are ponying up the cash for this one. Britain's bunker city: It is huge. And cheap. Only 5 million pounds.
240 acres. 60 miles of roads. The works. Too bad I didn't win that lottery. I'd buy it myself! |

Does this mean the Cheyenne Mountain Compex (NORAD) is no longer the worlds largerest bunker? Known to the public anyway....
1. Burlington (Britian) 2. Cheyenne Mountian (USA) 3. Diefenbunker (Canada) Correct me is any of this is wrong Also found this http://209.157.64.200/focus/f-news/873564/posts the UK sure has a lot of "Cold War" Bunkers Europe is so much cooler when it comes it underground secrets and abandoned buildings and all kinds of shtic like that. |

Brits should take that 5 million, and bribe the politicians into amending airsoft from VCR.

I went in the Defeinbunker once, my dads friend owned it for a short period of time, us and the rest of the kids(i was only like 11) ran around and played tag, the really fun part of that was that the generators wern't working too great and the power would go off every 10 or so minutes, so it was alot of fun.

I used to sleep in the Diefenbunker just outside of Nanaimo, under the old Malaspina Training Centre. I remember it would be pitch black when you turned out your bedroom lights, and the air was incredibly dry.

dry and stale... and gross. Hot-Bunking is pretty sick when you get stuck with hopping into some fat guys bunk

Um, it was not hotbunking. The reason the air was dry was the bunkers used recirculated air. Very little air wold be drawn from outside. Alos, I do not recall mentioning hotbunking at all.
As to that city in the UK, it would be cool. Anyone want to lend me $10 Million to buy it? |

Lets sell all our airsoft stuff and raise money for that bunker so we can play tag...

I thought they filled in the Diefenbunker?

didnt say the air was stale due to hotbunking. Air was stale as yes it was resurculated air in more or less a subturan fallout shelter.
The hotbunking was for the smallness of it. and the number of people it required to run the definbunker. I dont know if they filled the deifen or not. i was there 3 years ago.
