MFG Venom - Muzzle Flash w/ WIP Sound enhancer
Well.. if you remember my post about the "B.L. Tech sound simulator" here http://airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=160117
Then this may be of interest to you. Basically this company called "Incentive Designs" have been around for a little, seems they got some projects out already, and some that are a WIP. One of them being another sound simulator called "SMG RATTLE." Currently they have something called the "MFG Venom" which acts as a muzzle flash. Has 4 LED's in the unit and each time a bb passes out, it flashes, which is sweet. Also for GBBR's it shines the light onto the gas, which shows gas spewing out. I'm assume the light that it emits will work well as a tracer aswell, so a two in one kind of thing. Granted this thing is highly awesome, it'll give away your position in no time. Priced @ 79.99 EU w/ 19.99 EU shipping. Very cool! Love this kind of simulation, do they have a website? Want to see more specs and what they actually look like.

Meh their sound simulator sounds like a diesel engine and it's probably not the smartest idea to put a possible ignition source on the barrel of your GBBR.

Honestly, if it's just LEDs, then I wouldn't worry about ignition. I dunno about having it powered by a PEQ box though, I'd rather a smaller power source (though I know that's hard to manage, plus wouldn't last long) as I use several GBBRs without any sort of batt box.

Hi Guys, Kev here from Incentive Designs in the UK, I came across this thread when I did a google search. It's great to see our products being discussed around the world. I am the designer of the electronics inside the Venom,as well as other Incentive Designs stuff. If anyone has any questions, I will do my best to answer them! Please feel free to ask!

Oh and no, as DeeJay said, there is no ignition source at all in the venom, it's just a bank of super bright LEDs, which I have specially made for me, that are as close to the colour (or color ) of a real muzzle flash as possible! You can power the Venom from any voltage source between about 6 and 16v, Customers have hidden the battery in various places ( PEQ box, front forward grip, inside the rail etc) it really doesn't take much power, it will run all day on a 9v PP3 battery without any problems. I think when I did the calculations, I came up with 8 hours run time and 4000 shots per 9v battery, but you could run it from a small 2s Lipo without a problem. sorry, I'm waffling on!
I'll go now! Kev |

UK? |
