Hi all,

Anyone know anything about this gun, its by KJW right? and its supossed to be a exact copy of the Mauri A1, but cheaper. I was thinking about picking one up because they are fairly cheap, but then again I think to my self its so cheap for a reason right? anyone had one (its kinda new so mabye not), or know any story's weather they be good or bad,

Thanks for your time,

-Choda

I remember reading up on it some time ago - gave me a really good impression in the end. Seems like its much more worth it in Canada, but hopefully someone that owns the gun can chime in and let you know.

Im waitin for the UTK AK

Cheers,
Alex

I heard it sucks from some other airsoft forums, but I'va also heard it's good. (Mostly sucks), and people say it performs the same as UTG, but those people are probably idiots... I'd just save up for the Marui.

it's a tm knock-off alright but for half the money. it may be as reliable as a tm, but who knows. only time will tell. the one i played around with was shooting about 320 fps and didn't appear to have any hiccups. it suffers from the tm "barrel wobble" and they don't give you any frills. i think it's a decent cheap aeg to start out with and it is compatible with tm mags and any part i've seen that would fit on a tm.

nah its not going to be my starter gun (i already have a few aegs), i was just thinking of buying a couple, using them as indoor beaters, but yea again they are new and i guess i will have to wait till some one here raves, or complains about there SRC

It is a TM knockoff. I have personally held and played with these SRC's. They chrony about 310-320 consistant and feel just like a Tokyo Marui M4, if not a little better. The best part is, they are cheap(Er) and you can use marui mags as well as upgrade all of the internals with system/guarder/whatever gears and springs.

I am personally getting one of these, as well as a few others on my team (Snowdragons) as seconary (or tertiary) guns.

Storeskeeper is selling one, they are an EXACT Marui copy, and looks and feels great (save for the retractible stock, which leaves something to be desired.)

Talk to Stores about it.

They also sell under the name STTI (stti and src are interchangable as company names.)

I have one sitting in my basement. Need a battery and a place to test it. I will check in when I give it a go. It feels nice though, good weight, solid.

its nice, but the barrel and the stock tube is very Glossy, as are the other metal parts located on the outside. it has metal bushings and i belive a metal gearbox also. and it shoots low 3's also. defentaly my next indoor beater when ever i get some extra coin together

You bastard would send out your GF with the pistol while you hog the AEG?

A true Gentleman would offer the lady the AEG and play with the pistol! :-)
