H&k mp5 A5

We'll so far I've played with this gun stock so I wanted to do a couple minor things like a suppressor and a red dot. However, The orange tip cap (with the threading under it) will not come off . Whether it be with my torch , hot water or straight force I just cannot get it off. I also bought a sight rail (NcSTAR mp5/H&k scoupe mount) but honestly that clearly will not fit on this gun . I am having just a painful time upgrading the smallest and easiest things to do. Anyone have any sort of tips, info or even a video I can watch ?

It's so disheartening to be a Refrigeration mechanic for 8 , almost 9 years of my life yet I cant unscrew a freaking cap that's glued on or even mount a sight rails that is apparently for my gun.

It's a G&G btw.

Well for sure this sight rail is not going to work. I'm still working on the cap though and I think i'm going to lean more towards using my propane torch to melt the glue over boiling water.

It wouldn't be something so obvious as that the pitch treading is generally CCW for Tokyo Marui compatable Mp5's, would it be? No leftie-loosey.

If you've screwed it up beyond all recognition, have no fear, redemption is here.

But I'd go this route.. looks meaner. (I did.)

Haha no I know its CCW threads its just the glue I guess has not melted yet. I actually bought that first link you posted. I have that already on my gun its just orange. Not 100% sure how to take the whole piece out though. Like i said I have been searching youtube for decent videos but I have not been having much luck.

From what I can see there is no screw like the ICS models.

For my TM - there is a tiny allen key set-screw inset into the bottom of the sight post that loosens up the flash-hider assembly.

The G&G 3 lug adapter is threaded , not held in place with a grub screw like TM & CA..
Remove the front sling pin then unscrew it from the outer barrel/ front sight.

So I have the pin out. Once I start to loosen it then whole outer barrel spins with it. Trying to counter it with something but I dont want to squeeze too hard and bend it somehow. I can only assume that piece is glued at the threads as well.

or if you rather be cautious on it put it in a vice and crank on it. Just make sure no part of the metal outer barrel is within the vice.

If you can't remove it, this silencer would probably work. It's a quick detach model that locks on to the 3 lugs.

It won't be secure as screwing onto threads, but is does fit the G&G.

Suffering with this thing . Im about done with trying to add things onto this gun, for now. After all this too I swear I heard my motor slip as well. Which is unfortunate because this gun is fairly new . Should have just bought a VFC like my brother to begin with.

Any updates? I just removed my 3 lug adapter but i realized that the adapter is threaded on the inside.
So wouldnt that make http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=968 useless?
It doesnt look like it has threads on the inside. It looks like its secured by that notch on the adapter, while mine is threaded onto the outer barrel.
I think this http://airsoftdepot.ca/catalog/produ...oducts_id=1675 might work, can someone confirm it for me?
