RS AK charging knob ?
Hey guys,
I'm currently in the process of building my latest project; WE AK PMC. I came across this picture and wondered where could I find this item ? I'll need to grind down the original handle, drill and probably tap the hole in order for it to fit. Thanks for your help !

I know it's a Saiga; I was referring to the charging knob, not the gun itself. I was wondering if any Canadian retailers had that Tromix knob for sale / in-stock.

I'm pretty sure Saiga's are prohibited, so I can't imagine Canadian retailers would stock parts for them.

If you read correctly, that knob is for AK-47 AND Saigas ... it's only a knob FFS not a RS receiver.

The website says it fits on any AK charging handle - so chances are very good it is a straight bolt-on mod for your WE AK.
These guys ship to Canada; https://www.desertstriketactical.com...extension-knob |

Does it hurt to ask when in doubt ? The only good reply I had so far was from Kokanee, and btw thank you for the link.

Funny how things work Not even a week ago I was looking for a specific AK part and bumped into this store. Looked around and thought: "Meh only tacticool stuff there. Not interested..."

I had a TM AK for years and never gamed it because I could never get comfortable with it; I warmed up to AKs when I finally started tacticooling it. Rails make everything better. :P
Another part of the problem with it was the small pistol grip typically found on AKs: I find larger grips a lot more comfortable (partly due to an old injury to my right hand). Aper and I are doing almost identical conversions (my old AK105 being reborn as a GBBR) and I decided to go "full Western" this time around. As a purist, I can pretty much guarantee you'll hate everything about it! hahaha

I still remember Patrick being a part of "dirka-dirka" club with old school AK I guess he joined the dark side. Hey, I still enjoy tacticool VZ's and SKS with tapco kit (pistol grip/side folder) is comfy too.
