Home Depot O-Rings
So I keep hearing about the Danco #14 O-Ring from Home Depot but after going to 3 different stores they don't have it. They have MOEN O-Rings but don't go by the classification of "#14" for example.. it would appear that i need to know the exact measurement details

#14 is the size in Ameracan Guage Standard. It should be also marked #14 behind the pack of Moen's
At my store, they have that little hidden plastic box with lots of "lose" o-rings, 30 cent each. Might need to find an older employee, the new guys don't know about it usualy. |

Is this for the LM4 nozzle and valves??
The KWA forums always talk about danco and harbor freights orings which i guess are easy to come buy in the US. If this is for the lm4 and you find suitable substitutes at homedepot please post! I would be interested! |

#14 oring for aeg piston head. I use some random orings I have at work. They are green viton rubber designed to handle exposure to fuel oil. Work good and wear very nicely.

Just go buy a couple hundred assorted set for like $12 or $14 at Princess Auto or Canadian Tire.

are these O-Rings that much better than the stock rings that come with an aftermarket piston head?
I can just as easily go out and buy a Modify Piston head for < $20 |

I think its more for the point of when a ring needs to be replaced. But sometimes a replacement ring makes a big difference. In my vsr the oring that came on my laylax piston was thin and flimsy i replaced it with one from an amerex fire extinguisher head (the handle part that screws into the cylender) and gained 40 fps because it seals perfectly with the cylender without having to expand.
I work with extinguishers so have acsess to orings that are drsigned for high lressure aplications so i always swap em around if i can.
