KWA Mac-11 dry firing
I have a KWA Mac-11 NS2 and it doesn't not lock back the bolt when the magazine is empty. I am able to dry fire the gun when an empty magazine is loaded. Is it normal for the Mac-11 to dry fire? For all my other Gasblowback weapons, the slide locks back when the magazine is empty of BB's.

as far as I recall on my mac 11 it would just hit the bb follower... but I think I had the pre ns2 one.

Real and Airsoft MAC11 fire from open bolt, so they will fire indefinitely when the follower on the magazine is locked down. There is no "lock back" feature on the mac 11 because on the real steel and airsoft, the bolt falls forward on the last shot if the trigger is held in auto. In semi it should lock back in airsoft.

I had a dry firing problem with this gun. Next time it dry fires remove the magazine and check the top bb to see if there is still tension on it. If it's too low or loose, then the mags are having a jamming issue. If this is the case, make sure there is no debris in the bb loading area and possible try different bbs.
And make sure you are charging the weapon before inserting the mag.
