Airsoft Application
Hi,
I'm a French developer and to offer my application more, I need some informations about Airsoft in Canada. What are the laws that regulate Airsoft? What are the obligations in the events. Do you have documents for beginners? The principle of Airsoft, how to choose replica , safety rules, the types of parties, things they need to know, etc? Best regards Syfer |

Safety First always wear your eye protection Paintball, or related airsoft goggle
How to choose a replica what ever floats your boat If you played paintball tbe safety is pretty much the same Just use common sense Treat your airsoft rifle/pistol as if it were a real gun Obviously don't open carry it in public Hope that helps Last edited by MatthewRyan; February 7th, 2013 at 21:03.. |

fps limits
cqb 350 outdoor 400 for aeg and gbbr 450 for bolt action sniper rifles lvl2 certified snipers 500 lvl 3 550 (the certification is offered via sniper clinics on this website, the host would have to agree to theese limits and the field would have to be large enough to allow for safe MED's minimum engagement distances.) choosing a gun is really (for the most part) a personnal preferance and at the core most aegs will work and perform simaler to eachother. best way to choose one would be decide what gun you like and what would work for your aplication ie you wouldnt want to buy a long m16 if you plan to play indoor all the time and youd likely want something larger then a pistol if outdoor games are where you plan to play, then find reviews on said gun so you can decide what brand of said gun you can afford but is still reliable the laws are a lil grey but for tje most part you should be 18 anr older, you should not buy guns from outside of canada, you should not carry you gun in public, when transporting it should be in a bag or case, always treat it like its a real gun and not a toy and act accordingly. always weat proper eye protection, even when target shooting. eithet paintball or ballistic rated goggles or glasses. when playing a game wear proper footwear and full seal eyewear not just the glasses type, also some sort of face protection is reccomended especially for indoor/cqb games. there is a host of info fpr new players on this site. The FAQ section on here would be a good place to point them.

i cant really read french but so far your app looks good.
some things i did notice tho (in french lol) the 450fps doesnt cover semi auto guns it is for bolt action guns only, the semi auto aeg or gbb will fall into the 400 fps section in most canadian games. Some exceptions may be made but not really often. and i seen 10jouels somewhere in there as well. Thats getting into real gun power. 400fps on .20 gram bb is 1.48j 500fps is 2.31 a real gun (the definition by canadian government) is 500fps AND 5.7j of energy. also i seen 10meters somewhere there to, i think it was in relation to engagement distance or mercy range (i could be wrong it was in french) but places that use a mercy ruly itll be either 10 or 15 feet

This actually looks quite good. Even the layouts are done nicely. I'll definitely be waiting for an English version in the future. Thanks!

Thanks you very much guys for all your comments/advices, you 've responded quickly and correctly to my questions!
MatthewRyan Yes it helps, so many players don't use their "common sense" Hectic I din't know it existed a certification system to the snipers. -Don't worry about the 10 joules it was a comparison with paintball. -The 10 meters was about the MED's -For the Version 0.9.5 I will may be add FPS tables by country. K3vX C'est avec un grand plaisir que j'aimerais utiliser tes services de traduction. Je t'enverrais un mp pour les prochaines. Towe1ey The English version will be available in few days! That's a pleasure to see people really interested, if you think it lack of something, tell me. |

Regarding the app...
-there's a decimal point missing -the charger alarm doesn't work properly -there are no options, it just brings up the version (or is viewing the current version an 'option'?) -I dont know what Batiments and Outer is (touching yourself ourdoors?) -No option to convert to English -What is a tapis de sol et serviette? -The 'Notes' section seems to freeze on both my Samgung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S along with my wife's HTC phone -'Rules & "Advices" is not available in English -No credit is given to the creators of the hand-signals, thus you personally can be slapped in the face with a copyright violation lawsuit and have your app pulled off of the app store, should someone wish to confront you -The glossary is also not in English -No option for changing things from french to English. +The alphabet is a nice thing to add in So to sum up, as they say on the App Store.... Uninstalled.

And that means what to me? I see a lot of English already incorporated and the rest of it is in French, THUS I'm commenting on it.
