Guarder AK47 Blow back bolt

Found this from another forum, thought you AK freaks would like this.

No further details yet as it's not listed on Guarders website, and most likely would require modding your mechbox to intergrate.
But it sure looks hot.

F*&(ing eh!

Tru, now this is THE item to import when it's avail..

Alot of AK enthusiasts have been waiting a long time for a metal bolt carrier group, and blowback too is just the icing on the cake.

hmmm, I think the Ak and the Thompson have the same mechboxes so if that ak bolt attaches to the mech box, maby it could be modifyed for the thompson.

i'd assume it attaches to the piston itself?

Ak - Version 3 Mechbox

Thompson - Version 5 Mechbox
Thompson uses a version 6 mechbox. Huge difference. The 5 is the weakest mechbox and the 6 is the strongest maybe after the psg-1s version 4.

Thats true, I checked 007 and on the product description it says that the thompson was a V5, then checked WGC and it said V6, Im gonna email Ken and tell him to change that typo. Thanks!

Do you guys think a blowback bolt for a aeg would work very good? Like I mean you would have to probably make some perminant modifications to the piston as well as the mechbox shell so if you decided you didnt like it you might not be able to take it off. I don't know it's just me talking....but it kinda sounds like the same thing when those recoil kits came out for aeg's (it just shredded the gears)

It's a neat thing to have but i'm not sure how practical it would be.
