G36 mag pouches
Hey, would i be able to hold two G36 mags in a triple M4/M16 pouch?

Yes.
Only issue is that pulling them out can be a bit of a hassle with the edges/knobs of the mags catching on the pouch trim, or trapped by the retainment bungies. Makes mag swaps a nightmare when under fire. I switched over to dedicated G36 pouches for that reason. |

ehobby, Tactical Tailors. Very few G36 pouch makers unless you hit tactical equipment stores in Deutchland. Even fewer if you're looking for pouches in OD or coyote (lots of flecktarn, though).
DSTactical in BC carries TT, but they couldn't fill my order completely (hence ehobby). |

If you're going with two G36 mags, get dedicated pouches. Make sure they have malace clips. Many just have snaps that easily come undone when you catch the mag on the pouch pulling it out. I went this route for a while but eventually switched to double M16 pouches with one mag per pouch. 10000x better. Pouches are big enough that the mags slide in and out without issue.

I tried fitting single G36 mags into double M4 pouches, but found that I had to cut the restraining elastics to even get them to move in/out without too much resistance. Mainly out, though, especially under stress.
I also tried double G36 mags (clipped together) in a triple M4, and that was an even bigger pain to pull out. A dedicated double G36 mag box pouch, although specialized, is ideal - they slip in/out with silky speed. AND they can hold 3 M4 mags if you decide to swap your loadout. |

I use TT mag pouches. I store the mags in the pouches so they keep shape. Works like a charm.

For this exact problem, this is why I'm considering the PMags for G36s if I end up with a G36 platform

As much as I would love to switch to G36 PMAGs, nobody (that I know of) makes them for WE.
