Anything In the FRS/GMRS frequency range. Find out from your local players what others use.

Just remember that in Canada you CAN NOT use frequencies outside of the FRS/GMRS channels that were given to us for use unless you buy time/get permission to use other freqs or have all of your team members get their amateur license and use some other freq.
I used to use Linton 6100 Plus / Puxing-888 (2 VERY GREAT radios, prefer the puxing) But now I use a Motorola XTS 2500

I like my wouxun KG-UVD1P, VHF 136-174MHz / UHF 420-520MHz, plus when there is some down time I can also pick up local FM radio channels.

My radio is from HK, I think the frequency is like 409 so it won't work here?

Cant go wrong with the Puxing series. I have a PX 777 and 888 and both are great. Run a comm set up that your comfortable with, I dont much like ones that fully cover my ears so I custom made a full set up.
It runs off Kenwood 2pin, so lots of headset options. Good price too, find it at, err whats the site, Search for Techseller page, hes the guy to talk to and buy from.

Check to see if your radio works at 462 -468 MHz. If it does then you are good to go, just need to program your radio with the FRS/GMRS frequencies. The list of those frequencies can be found here: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=18513
If your radio will not run those freqs.... You can get a Puxing 888, new PTT and headset all from www.technologydirectcanada.com That is a GREAT site to deal with and they will get you set up properly.

the KG-UVD1P or FDC 460A are very good radios.
if you want dual freq's UHF/UHF or UHF/VHF or VHF/VHF then KG-UVD1P is the way to go. if you want just single freq and save some $$ then the FDC460A |
