Mich2001 for a size 8 head
So my head measures comfortably at an 8 or 24.5" , and I'm wondering if a replica mich 2001 with 1/2" pads would fit my massive cranium.( as I've read that replicas are large)
Or even if a XL fast base jump will fit even remotely I have already found this thread http://airsoftcanada.com/showthread....ght=Large+head but it did not adequately answer my question. Any advice, or perhaps a bench vise that could get me to a regular head size would be greatly appreciated. Last edited by hadur; March 31st, 2012 at 13:47.. |

Nope. You are equipped with a real steel sized head I am afraid (I'm close so I know.) I am a 7-3/4 and the OPS Core Base Jump is a little snug on me adjusted all of the way out.

Afraid? You say it like this is a bad thing. Real steel helmets are the best, wear one a few times it feels so much better on the head. I own two real steel helmets and thats what I wear to games, the extra weight doesn't bother me. Once you get a few games with it you wont notice it.

I thought current helmet designs were constructed of an aramid fibre as opposed to steel.
